The immortal Totò is at his best in this entertaining burlesque. While Totò is the central character, Peppino de Filippo is another irresistible titan of Italian comedy. Comedy is all about timing, and the timing here is flawless thanks to the screenplay by Agenore Incrocci and Furio Scarpelli known as Age-Scarpelli.
